A Gift from the Past
A couple of months ago, I had a message on Ancestry.com wanting to know if I could locate a descendant of Myra Hadlock Ober JMA# M2464, wife of Charles Church More II JMA# 2464. The request came from a group on Facebook, The Photo Angel Project. I accepted the photograph of Myra dated June 1898. It was taken by Janson Studios in Beverly, Massachusetts. Charles and Myra had no children.
I am looking for someone in the David Fellows More JMA# 246 line that would like to have the photograph. If you are interested, please contact me by email at [email protected].
JMA Virtual Cemetery Biographies
This summer I thought I’d try my hand at creative writing and joined Cindy Coffell in writing biographies for our cousins. I was not sure that I would enjoy it but wanted to give it a try. Afterall, creative writing in school was not one of my favorite subjects. I’ve now been writing biographies for nearly two months and have found I enjoy bringing our cousins’ and their families and lives to life. I’m a descendant in the Robert line so that is where I started. Some stories are easy to write with lots of information available in our two books and online with Ancestry. Others are difficult and short with little information beyond our books and the census records.
My goal is to have a biography on everyone in my line of Robert. When I have completed them, I’ll choose another branch of the family and begin again. Cindy has inspired me, and I hope that there are other cousins out there that will be inspired to learn about their families lives and join us in bringing our cousins to life.

Family Updates and Passwords
You can send updates on your family two ways. Our new website has new forms that are much easier to use. Just choose the form, birth, marriage, death and address change, fill in the information and send. You can also send that information to my email: [email protected].
Let’s all check our family records and make sure everyone is included!
